Thank you Beth for starting a list that can be used to support Iowa farms and organizations that work hard to slow down the negative effects of industrial, corporate style agri business. An organization dear to my heart is Women, Food and Agriculture Network that i helped found twenty five years ago. WFAN works to amplify women’s voices in a male dominated sector.

Beth, It was nice to see you "in person" on the Friday Zoom call. Another producer you can consider is Hinterland Dairy near Donnellson, IA. They produce farmstead cheese, meaning the cheese is produced on their farm from milk from their farm. It's an excellent product, they do a lot for their community, and are very good at marketing their product. Full disclosure - Colleen Krogmeier is my sister and I am so proud of what they have accomplished.

Keep up the good work on your farm and with your column.
